Jonas Jacobi, Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Jonas Jacobi is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Kaazing, which he co-founded in 2007. Mr. Jacobi sets the company's business strategy and oversees all aspects of Kaazing's operations and mission to become the world-wide leader in real-time Web technologies.

Before co-founding Kaazing Mr. Jacobi served as VP of Product Management for Brane Corporation, a startup company in Silicon Valley, dedicated to developing a market-leading enterprise platform for building model-driven applications.

Prior to his appointment as Vice President for Brane Corporation, he spent over 8 years at Oracle where he served as a Java EE and open source Evangelist, and product manager responsible for the product management of JavaServer Faces, Oracle ADF Faces, and Oracle ADF Faces Rich Client in the Oracle JDeveloper team.

Mr. Jacobi is a frequent speaker at international conferences and has written numerous articles for leading IT magazines such as Java Developer's Journal, JavaPro, AjaxWorld, and Oracle Magazine. Mr. Jacobi is co-author of the best-selling book Pro JSF and Ajax: Building Rich Internet Components, (Apress).

 

John Fallows, Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Fallows is a co-founder of Kaazing Corporation, and in his role as Chief Technology Officer, Mr. Fallows formulates Kaazing Corporation's vision of creating the best real-time Web solution based on the Java standard. He defines the architecture of the Kaazing product suite and oversees its development.

Prior to co-founding Kaazing, Mr. Fallows served as Architect for Brane Corporation, a startup company based in Redwood City, California. Before joining Brane, Mr. Fallows was a Consulting Member of Technical Staff for Server Technologies at Oracle Corporation. During his last 5 years at Oracle, Mr. Fallows focused on designing, developing, and evolving Oracle ADF Faces to fully integrate Ajax technologies.

Originally from Northern Ireland, Mr. Fallows received his MA in Computer Science from Cambridge University in the United Kingdom and has worked in the software industry for more than twelve years.

Mr. Fallows has written several articles for leading IT magazines such as Java Developer's Journal, AjaxWorld Magazine, and JavaMagazine (DE), and is a popular speaker at international conferences. Mr. Fallows is co-author of the best-selling book Pro JSF and Ajax: Building Rich Internet Components, (Apress).

 

Paul C. Dali

Paul C. Dali is a founder and the managing principal of KeyNote Ventures. Prior to this venture, he was founder and managing general partner of Dali, Hook Partners, Convergence Partners and a general partner of Nazem & Co. and 3i Ventures.

Mr. Dali is a successful, progressive and visionary investor who was responsible for backing one of the first companies to put sound on computers (MediaVision), and one of the first companies to use the Internet for enterprise level network security and updates (Cybermedia). Because of his operating background, experience and current business conditions, Mr. Dali is focusing on enterprise software and the "real time enterprise."

Prior to his career in venture capital, he had 23 years of operating experience that included building Regis McKenna into the largest high tech marketing and communications company as its CEO, and serving as vice president and general manager of the PC Division of Apple Computer and chairman of its marketing council.

Both his operating and venture capital background have made Mr. Dali an invaluable member of the board of directors, or board of advisors, on which he currently serves, which include Blazent, Loadstar Sensors, Precoad, UltraDots and MiraPoint. He was also a board member of Cybermedia, MediaVision, Storm Software, @POS and Repeater Technology, all previously public companies. In addition, he was a board member of BroadWare Technologies (sold to Cisco) and Webify (sold to IBM). His experience and reputation as the "Godfather of Multimedia VC Business" (Red Herring, June 1993) has made him a sought-after speaker on marketing, entrepreneurism and venture capital. Mr. Dali has a BS degree in finance from California State University.

 

Ray Bingham

Ray Bingham's distinguished career of more that 30 years has spanned businesses in high tech, chemical engineering, and hospitality real estate development with accomplishments in mergers and acquisitions, global trade and venture capital. From 1993 to 2005, he served in executive management roles at Cadence Design Systems, the world's leading electronics design automation (EDA) software company. He was named executive chairman in May 2004, after serving as president and chief executive officer since May 1999. He joined Cadence in 1993 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Under Mr. Bingham's leadership, Cadence developed from a $360 million company to a $1.3 billion global industry leader. During his tenure as CEO, the company's technology leadership grew through a series of strategic acquisitions, internal research and development and venture investments. Mr. Bingham also directed Cadence's global expansion into India, China and Russia, a decade ahead of today's focus in those emerging markets.

Before joining Cadence, he held senior management roles with the Marriott Corporation, Red Lion Hotels and Inns, Agrico Overseas Investment Company and N-ReN International. He is a director of three public companies: Oracle Corporation, Flextronics International Ltd. and STMicroelectronics NV. He also helped found and serves as a Director of the Silicon Valley Education Foundation and is a board member of the National Parks Conservation Association.

Mr. Bingham earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors from Weber State University and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the Harvard Business School. Additionally, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities from Weber State University.
